Sauron / Lugubre split CD: Two historical EPs gathered on this split CD. Originally released for the 2022 edition of Veneration Of The Dead festival, these are the last copies that remained. The Sauron EP “True hate embodiment” was originally released on CD format in 2000 and obviously long sold out. Four tracks of destructive anti-human black metal in the vein of Warlust (NL), old Dark Funeral, old Marduk, old Cirith Gorgor. The Lugubre EP “Resurrection of the beast” was originally released on limited CDr disc for the mini-tour with Eternity and Corpus Christii in 2008 and remained out of print ever since. Four tracks of hyperspeed black metal that bring nothing but total war destruction and armageddon. Very limited edition.

Wrok – Ontgravenis MC: This is probably the most extreme demo ever recorded in The Netherlands. Absolutely vile and rotten primitive black metal. Life metal gothics will not like this. This is almost identical to the original 1996 demo and was previously available with the debut album. Now the last copies have been made available for seperate enjoyment.

Anu – Nighthymns and Eternal obscurity: Anu is active since the mid 90s and previously released a couple of demos and an album but remained underground. The riffs and compositions here are repetitive, cold and evil and remind me of later Judas Iscariot and early Darkthrone, but with a production that is a lot heavier and more in the vein of Demoncy. Slight use of keyboards subtly mixed to the background adds to the atmosphere, as do a couple of synth-only tracks. Now, five obscured years after the latest public release, Anu crawls out of the shadows with the official release of two titles.

Затемно – В аду: Russian hooligan folk music. Затемно / Zatemno is a Russian band from Sergiyev Posad that was founded in 2011. “В аду” / “In Hell” is a mystical anthology of four short stories written in archaic Russian key. Utterly possessed and maniacal – Optimistic, but doomed… Nonconventional instruments and black metal, for which the band should be known by now. Especially recommended to fanatics of avantgardism such as Fleurety, later Lugubrum, Blackdeath, Peste Noire.

We present part eight of the festival – the longest running black metal festival in The Netherlands. The venue is yet again the best and one of the oldest original venues in the country: Baroeg Rotterdam. As usual a lineup with only exclusive performances, and no touring packages.

Barathrum “Hailstorm” and “Eerie“: finally available again on CD format with the original audio and improved artwork. The audio here is completely identical to the first press – no remaster and no bonustracks. The booklets feature upgraded and updated art with higher resolution source graphics and printing, silver pantone printing on both.
“Hailstorm” has four additional pages with lyrics and photos that were not in the first press.
“Eerie” has a much higher quality frontcover with the full cover painting by J.S. Kerman, which was truncated on the earlier CD version.
Barathrum CD releases as always produced in cooperation with the band and with their full support.

The Chösen – “Resistance leading to strength” CD – Twenty years after the debut, The Chösen returns with their second full length album ‘Resistance Leading to Strength’. Thrashing black metal with a straight-forward drive and aggressive, hateful screams. 35 minutes of Neo pagan war that characterizes the era of black metal of 20 years ago in musical, conceptual and art style. Founding member Wolfhound (also in Standvast and Tarnkappe), who commands and dominates all with recognizable voice, has recruted new member Dragontank to bring you a powerful album full of old-school feeling that continues in the same conceptual style as the debut. The pact between Heidens Hart and The Chösen go back almost 20 years so we are proud to present the return of the band with their second album. To be released on limited CD format this summer.

Today marks 25 year to the day that the first Pest rehearsal took place and the first songs were written. Now in 2022, the band has been officially on hold after drummer Mrok died. But behind the scenes, the three original members Scum, Atax and Mr. Blasphemy have worked on new material – for which recordings are almost finished. A brand new full length and a split album are being mixed right now. Expect a continuation of the classic Pest sound.

Sagenland – Oale groond LP back in stock. This time on transparant / natural vinyl. Originally released last year with the LP selling out almost instantly, we had to wait over a year for a simple repress. Total madness.

This is the debut after more than a decade of silence. Grim black metal with melancholic folk melodies in the style of old Ulver, old Dodheimsgard, old Arckanum.

Huldrefolk – Eeuwenhout (LP) – Medieval trollish pestkult from Flemish swamplands. A truly cult album now after years of requests for the first time on vinyl LP. Fast and muffled blasting black metal from the dark trollforests, recommend for those into old Arckanum.

Ignis Uranium – Weird rehearsal 2010 (digipack CD) – Very nuclear and unique black/death fusion. This great sounding rehearsal detonation session contains all the tracks which were meant to become the second full-length album. This is unique stuff that could appeal to fans of Negative Plane, Stargazer, Martyrium and later Dodheimsgard.

Bottenberg – Demo 2022 (MC). Morbid black metal. New Dutch project. Three track cassette with demo versions and raw mixes for the upcoming album “De laatste onrustplaats”.

Vond – Selvmord (TS). Official shirt with the controversial artwork, originally banned in some countries. Same design as the previous longsleeve, this time on a t-shirt. Comes on extra high quality Gildan Ultra Cotton.
