Mortem – De natura daemonum (CD)

Fourth evil death metal masterpiece.

“Mortem’s “The Devil Speaks in Tongues” and “De Natura Daemonum” are masterpiece examples of death metal and I often find myself hard pressed to pick a favorite between the two. Both are superb albums that warrant frequent repeat listens. In the end, though shorter in content, I would have to say that “De Natura Daemonum” just edges out the sophomore record due to better production, improved musicianship and overall atmosphere. The fact that it was released in 2005 serves as proof that Mortem have persevered, unwavering in their mission, resisting all trends and existing only for creating the most pure metal of death.”
