Thy Worshiper – Popiół (Introibo ad altare dei) (CD)

Debut album from 1996 reissued on CD format. Original Polish black metal with slight pagan and gothic atmosphere. Also reminds of Behemoth debut album (which was released only one year earlier) due to some acoustic guitars and overall sound. Ashes, ritual, eternal darkness… A mystical fusion of black metal and folk, a landmark in the history of the Polish scene. Well written and original material!

Thy Worshiper features members from Wolfkhan, but originally had also Capricornus on drums on their first demo from 1993.
