The first act of Cthulhu the Mighty. An ambient experiment. No keyboards were used during the recording. As Para Bellum explained in interview for the Dutch zine Stormblast (#2-3, 1999): “We have used a large Soviet tape reverberator (with four heads) for this unearthen sound (I bought this device from a dirty dipsomanic for two dollars!). And also small guitar reverberators… We mixed two guitars and two basses.”
Invocations to the Great Old One unearthed from the darkest corners of East Europe. A morbid, dark and full of hate manifestation of the Lovecraftian universe made by members of Black DRAUGWATH (pre-BLACKDEATH).
Originally released in 1996 as a limited edition tape by HUNGRY AK-47 PRODUCTIONS, these four long fragments of the Adjuration of Cthulhu the Great now officially released on CD format for the first time, featuring only the original tape aestethics and mastered by Malkira Eskhanth. An ambient experiment that must be listened in the dark!
