Pest is a German black metal cult that needs no introduction. From the Teutoburger forest, West Germany, comes an album full of madness and weirdness. On this album, Pest displayed how they were prime forerunners of original European black metal that does not sound like Burzum or Darkthrone. Expect chaotic compositions accompanied with hysterical and possessed vocals, executed in a way that would became that recognizable Pest sound.

IRRLYCHT “Wolfish hordes in Rotterdam” MC
Live registration of the 2009 show at Sathanas In Gloriam part 3, where they played with Pest, Setherial, Mare, Dodenkrocht and others. A rough but intense recording, showing the wolfish horde on their path for bloodlust in prime form. Full set, almost 50 minutes multitrack recording from the soundboard and afterwards primitively mixed in the studio. Limited to 100 copies, full professionally manufactured and dubbed cassette.

Volc Vermaledide (medieval Dutch for “cursed people”) was founded in 2001 by S. Mordenare Raben, from a desire to create dark music inspired by the shadowy realms of Mordenare’s mind. Due to Mordenare’s previous involvement with bands such as Cirith Gorgor, Asregen and Walpurgisnacht, Volc Vermaledide has been lying dorment for many years only to have its fires rekindled after moving to rural Sweden.

In May 2021, Volc Vermaledide’s first full length album ‘Nietig’ saw the light. An album where Mordenare together with Nortfalke have built a soundtrack to the demise of mankind and the inevitability of its decay.

While at Volc Vermaledide’s core beats a black metal heart, its harsh and atmospheric compositions are often embellished with a thick layer of synthesizers or, in some cases even exclusively consist of synthesizers. Expect five lengthy spellbounding and magickal tracks, with a spacial image so bombastic and epic as if the void itself is resounding through Volc Vermaledide – all performed with the greatest of eye for detail. This album will certainly appeal to fanatics of the sound of The Ruins Of Beverast, Darkspace, Summoning and Lustre, as well as worshippers of classic dungeon synth sound. After an impressive debut album and critically acclaimed EPs, Heidens Hart Records proudly presents Kjeld’s sophomore album, Ôfstân (‘Distance’). The album was written over the course of 2017, 2018, and 2019. It is an extension and an evolution of their previous works that raises the bar set in the past, with nine insanely strong songs.
Ever since their early beginnings, the band has had one vision: to combine aggression and atmosphere in black metal. The band draws inspiration from Frisian nature, myths and sagas, and the darkness of man, combining these to create their own unique sound. Kjeld plays fast paced black metal without forsaking melody and dynamics. This album is crafted with impressive songwriting and a monolithic sound, with total attention for pure genius melodies, fueled with the most ferocious and aggressive drumming The Netherlands has to offer. This album is pure creative mastery, with their trademark
sound and riffs combined to create their own unique sound.
As always, the songs are soaked in the rich and ancient Frisian history, and solely chanted in Frisian, a minority Germanic language most closely related to English.
Kjeld’s new full length, Ôfstan, features almost an hour of music. Expect a more diverse and mature album than Skym, without compromising the basic premise that defines Kjeld: aggression and atmosphere.

The undisputed inventor of dungeon synth, Mortiis, unleashes new music unto the world in form of a release entitled “Spirit Of Rebellion” – a re-interpreted expansion and continuation of the 1994 Era I classic “Ånden som Gjorde Opprør”. Biggest change would be the addition of percussion and drums, to a much more bombastic and dynamic sound. Now officially released on tape in a special edition with dedicated audio mastering for analogue format. Comes with print on jewel case (!) and available in two colours: gold cassette with black print (Heidens Hart exclusive); black cassette with gold print (Mortiis exclusive).

AZANUL “Waar alchemisten regeren” tape

Old Dutch black metal project from the Irrwisch / Widergeist / Northward / Aurvandil circle. Raw black metal with lots of creative riffs and melodies, and good actual song writing. Band released two demos in 2005 and 2009. Now the third demo, written over a period of 15 years is out. Four tracks, 22 minutes, good analogue sound. Recorded in realtime on type II chrome tape (sold out and no longer being manufactured worldwide) for supreme audio quality. Comes with pro inlay.
